How this port works

This is a native port: the game was rebuilt to run as a real PC program with no emulator in the loop. That usually means better performance, arbitrary resolution and mod support — and it is why these run well on modest hardware.

PC, Android, iOS and macOS port of the ICO (PS2) decompilation (nathanialf/ico): Windows, Linux, Steam Deck, Android, iPhone via LiveContainer and Apple-silicon Mac (contributed). Contains no game data.

How to install

  2. 02Download the latest release from the project's GitHub page.
  3. 03Pick the build for your system: Windows, Linux, macOS.
  4. 04Extract it into an empty folder outside Program Files.
  5. 05Point the program at your own game files when prompted.
  6. 06Set resolution, frame cap and input before playing.
