How this port works
This is a native port: the game was rebuilt to run as a real PC program with no emulator in the loop. That usually means better performance, arbitrary resolution and mod support — and it is why these run well on modest hardware.
Unofficial PC Port of Animal Crossing Gamecube
How to install
- 01You need your own disc image of Animal Crossing for GameCube, the US version, as ISO, GCM or CISO.
- 02Download the zip from the latest release and extract it. Nothing needs building.
- 03Put the disc image inside the rom folder and open AnimalCrossing.exe.
- 04The game reads its data straight from the image at start — there is no extraction or preparation step.
- 05Keys can be changed in keybindings.ini, next to the executable, and accept mouse buttons too.
These projects ship no game data. Supply your own copy.
