How this port works
This is a native port: the game was rebuilt to run as a real PC program with no emulator in the loop. That usually means better performance, arbitrary resolution and mod support — and it is why these run well on modest hardware.
2 Ship 2 Harkinian: a PC port of Majora's Mask built from the decompilation, with widescreen, high resolution and mod support.
How to install
- 01You need your own Majora's Mask ROM, US version 1.0. The extractor does not accept other revisions.
- 02The ROM must be uncompressed, a raw .z64 file.
- 03Download the 2 Ship 2 Harkinian release and extract it into an empty folder with write permission.
- 04Put the ROM beside the executable and run it. It generates the data file on first launch, which can take a few minutes.
- 05If the ROM is rejected, check region and revision: using the EU or JP release is the most common mistake.
- 06Set resolution, widescreen and input in the options before you start.
